In the late 1970s, Bill Lawrence designed the famous L-500, popular with a wide variety of players and musical styles -- ranging from traditional jazz, blues, and country all the way to hard-driving, high-volume hard rock and heavy metal! More importantly, Bill's unique creation became the very first aftermarket pickup design to be reverse-engineered by a major aftermarket maker.
Today, players can choose from four available options personally fine-tuned by Bill: the L-500C, L-500R, L-500L and the L-500XL. You can select either: black, cream or zebra (cream/black) coils in either a black, white, cream, maroon (Unshielded) or silver ( chrome plated Shielded) housings.
